Isn’t it weird how you can just mull over a situation or conversation for days, months, even years? And then one day it just stops being in your head. Did i say something wrong? Did they get the wrong idea? It’s always 2am or 3am when i remember something awkward i said 6 years ago. 😅 Then life gives you something new to think about. And that same habit of overthinking takes a new form, and the conversation sounds different. But still at 3am.
Too bad locals won't let me post photos and videos together. We took soo many pics but none where everyone was looking. 😂 I get why it's a big deal now.
We plan to fire up some new content this summer, hopefully reviving the podcast/couchcast now that Jack is a little older. He hasn’t been the best sleeper over the last year, mostly because of the trailer (it is LOUD). He seems to react to the loud kids outside, the wind hitting the walls, the window AC units kicking on and off, pretty much everything. And since he wasn’t sleeping, we rarely got an hour of time to record anything. Times like this, living around family would be so clutch. It’s been challenging for sure, but i can’t imagine how single parents do it. Kids need you soo much more than i imagined before becoming a parent lol. Btw this is Lex writing, pic of the guys in target for attention lol.
Hey Brad and Lex, just wanted to say thanks. You are both so easy to watch. Also Brad, haven’t met you both (as I’m half way across the world) but you are so lucky to be with Lex, she’s such a bubbly, friendly, lovely person. From what I can tell, you’re a good man too (guess you wouldn’t be with Lex if not), I do like your perspective on topics.
Be good to meet you both…probably won’t happen. Take care, and love to you both and your families
Today Jack Jack is 7 months old 😩 boy “time flies” never hit so hard before having him. We’re always talking about having a sibling. 👀I can barely remember what childbirth feels like lol. In hindsight i wish i had filmed the “first 30 days with a newborn” or something like that because there are so many stages that go through. At one point he shouted everything he felt. He used to slam his legs on the bed and grunt all night like a little troll. Recently he was gargling every babble. Now he’s learned to jump so he’s constantly doing this frog motion. It’s really fascinating to watch human development from scratch. I didn’t realize that we all had to learn basic things like syncing up our eyes to look in one direction, burping, following a pointing finger, and laughing. I will say it is A LOT of work but we’re finally starting to get the hang of it. Maybe by his first birthday lol. 😂💀
